🌟Inspiring Indian Women (IIW) in the UK Parliament 🌟
On the Vijaya Dashami day, Team VTSUK had the privilege to witness and participate in the incredible Shakti event hosted by Honourable MP Bob Blackman and organised by Rashmi Mishra (IIW) bringing together dynamic women who shared their experiences and wisdom.
On behalf of VTSUK, Mrs. Anu Sadasya, delivered a powerful speech on the importance of early screenings for breast and cervical cancer. She also highlighted the remarkable achievements of His Holiness Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji with respect to Mahila Arogya Vikas (Women Health Wellbeing), who continues to inspire us all.
The response was very good and many people have responded with their support for our screening initiative. Our whole VTSUK all women core team was present and they interacted with various prominent people and leaders, Mayor of Camden Cllr Nazma Rahman, Honourable MP Bob Blackman , Mrs Nandita Sahu Hindi Attache as well as Cultural Attache from the High Commission of India.
Other incredible women shared their thoughts on various aspects, from life after divorce to caring for the elderly. It was a day of empowerment and enlightenment.
Let’s continue to support and celebrate the strength of women, making a positive impact in our society.
