🌱 Pathways to Wellbeing & Belonging

Funded by The National Lottery Community Fund

We’re excited to announce that Volunteering Together for Service UK (VTSUK) has received funding from The National Lottery Community Fund to deliver a year-long wellbeing and community programme in the London Borough of Hillingdon.

This project – Pathways to Wellbeing & Belonging – was designed by the community, for the community.

💡 What the Project Offers

Throughout 2025–26, we will deliver a wide range of free activities, open to residents of all ages and backgrounds:

🔹 Health & Wellbeing

• • Workshops on stress management, mindfulness, sleep, nutrition, and creative expression

  • Safe peer support groups for adults who feel isolated, anxious, or low

🔹 Youth Leadership & Skills

• • Leadership training and cultural exchange sessions for young people aged 14–25

  • Opportunities to design and deliver youth-led community projects

🔹 Community Connection

• • Intergenerational events, cultural exchange circles, and inclusive community gatherings

  • Peer-led support groups and friendship-building workshops

🔹 Environment & Belonging

• • Clean and Green Action Days – litter picks, tree planting, and local space improvements

  • Upcycling, mindful gardening, and eco-wellbeing workshops

📊 Our Impact Goals

By the end of the 12-month programme, we aim to:

• • Support people through wellbeing workshops

  • Engage people in peer support groups

  • Empower young people with leadership skills and pathways to future opportunities

  • Involve residents in community environmental action

  • Train local volunteers to continue activities and strengthen local networks

🌍 Community at the Heart

This project is powered by local voices and local action:

• • A steering group of 12 Hillingdon residents will oversee delivery

  • Our volunteers will lead sessions and act as wellbeing ambassadors

  • At least 70% of participant feedback will shape future activities

  • Partnerships with local GP surgeries, Hillingdon Talking Therapies, Mind, schools, and community groups will ensure people have clear routes into longer-term support and opportunities
